This school over the years had many issues with their surface water drainage, the existing system dispersed the surface water via pitch fibre pipework to a soakaway. We undertook a survey of all the drainage and compiled a report to determine it had all perished beyond repair. Due to the semi-rural location of the school the was no surface water drainage within the proximity. Storm carried out an application to Thames water for permission to combine the surface water in with the foul and after many hoops permission was granted. Our work involved carrying out repairs to the below ground pipes and to create a new drainage run across the playground to divert into the foul drain.
